The Epson ET-4850 is a feature-packed beast, but from a strictly economic perspective, you have to ask if you’re actually going to use that Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). If you're scanning hundreds of pages, the ET-4850 is a massive time-saver. However, if your focus is strictly on printing costs, the Canon G6050 offers the same tank-based ink savings and double-sided printing for a much lower initial purchase price.
