⚖️ Expert Verdict

When comparing the P1P to the flagship X1 Carbon, you are looking at the difference between a high-speed hobbyist tool and a professional powerhouse. The P1P offers the same core speed as the X1C but strips away the premium sensors and enclosure to save on cost. The X1 Carbon features a high-resolution LIDAR sensor that automatically calibrates the flow and inspects the first layer for errors. It also includes a stunning touchscreen interface and a much more powerful processor for handling complex files. The X1C’s hardened steel nozzle and enclosed chamber allow it to handle abrasive materials like Carbon Fiber right out of the box. While the P1P is an amazing value for printing PLA, it feels a bit basic compared to the X1C’s 'magic' automation. If you have the budget, the X1 Carbon provides a much more future-proof and luxurious experience. For those on a stricter budget, the P1P still delivers identical print quality in standard materials.

What Owners Are Saying?

Bambu Lab X1-Carbon

James R.
"Absolute unit. Worth every single quid."

Mark
"Strategic win for my prototyping business here in London. The AMS system is a doddle to use and having four colors ready to go without manual swaps has changed my entire workflow. I print a lot of Carbon Fiber parts for clients and the surface finish is consistently professional. The LIDAR first-layer check has already saved me from a few potential 'spaghetti' disasters. It’s loud, yes, but for this level of speed and reliability, I can’t complain."

Alice T.
"Loud as a jet taking off from Heathrow, but it’s fast. Proper appliance-like experience."

Gareth
"Top performance but the closed ecosystem is a bit dodgy if you like fixing things yourself."

Bambu Lab P1P

Freddie
"Cheapest way into the Bambu ecosystem. Speed is mind-blowing. Printed a ream of PLA already with zero fails. If you don't need the enclosure, this is the one."

Sienna
"Great ROI. Camera is a bit rubbish though."

Jude B.
"Fast as you like, but I wish the frame was a bit more rigid. It can rattle a bit on the faster accelerations."
